Mr. Independent

Cannon is becoming quite the independent eater. He wants his own napkin when he sees me wipe my mouth. And he now wants his own spoon/fork when he observes us using utensils.

I waffle between letting him learn to feed himself and make a huge mess in the process OR just feeding him myself so that I don't have to mop the floor and wipe down everything within three feet of his booster seat.

Then again, sometimes he gets fed up with the spoon (and getting nothing into his mouth) and just uses his hands!
