Slow & Steady: Week 52

This week in our Slow & Steady activity book we practiced taking things in and out of containers.  Well, anyone that has spent any time with Cannon knows he LOVES doing this. He sat and put that ball into that container, put the lid on, took the lid off, took the ball out over and over again until he realized he'd rather roll and chase the ball around the living room!

Slow & Steady: Week 35

Bubbles, bubbles and more bubbles! Cannon was intrigued but not nearly as excited about them as I was. We tried bubbles inside and bubbles in the bath and he thought the bubble wand was much more interesting than the little bubbles themselves.

Slow & Steady: Week 30

We have found a favorite activity from the Slow & Steady development book. Crinkling paper! Cannon's wild about paper. Who knew?!

Slow & Steady: Week 28

This was "Feet Discovery Week" in our Slow & Steady book. Now, Cannon forgets all about his feet when he has pants on (weird, I know) so we went pantless for this play time. But that's okay, because who can resist those little chubby thighs?!

The activity was to tie a jingle bell to Cannon's ankle and then talk to him as he discovered his "left/right foot." As you can see he shook that bell to bits and then some.

Slow & Steady: Week 26

Week 26 in Slow & Steady Get Me Ready found us tossing a sock ball back and forth . . . . well, maybe I was just tossing the ball forth. Cannon didn't quiet understand that he was to throw it back. He did have a wonderful time shaking that sock to bits though.

Slow & Steady: Week 25

Cannon and I have been having so much fun doing the simple little activities in Slow & Steady Get Me Ready.

Most of the activities I can do with simple items around the house. This week we used old coffee cans and a wooden spoon to bang, bang, bang out different rhythms and to hear the different sounds.
