Preschool: Christmas Month (Week 2)

In case you missed it, read about our earlier Christmas adventures here:

Our second week of Christmas month was our field trip week! We attempted to go to the "ice palace" at Willow Bend Mall, but were a little disappointed at the small display and not being able to take our own pictures with Santa. So, we settled for hanging out at the play place and then eating lunch at Chic-fil-a afterwards.

It took Cannon over 30 minutes of sitting next to me on the bench and watching all of the kids run around before he warmed up to playing at the mall's play place. On the other hand, our picture below is missing Dominik because he was so EXCITED to be running, playing, climbing and socializing.

Preschool: Christmas Month (Week 1)

It's Christmast month in preschool. We're only meeting two weeks due to the holidays and me getting big and tired and pregnant, but there were SO many fun ideas/activities to choose from!

This week in preschool our activities included:

  • Reading: Christmas books
  • Christmas Activity: We filled a plastic ornament with sparkly pom poms, snowflakes and jingle bells.
  • Sensory Activity: Jingle Toes
  • Slow & Steady Get Me Ready: Painting with a Brush
Paint newspaper or butcher paper with a wide brush and water (add food color for extra fun).
