Mother's Day with Nana

Photo & Video Sharing by SmugMug
I tried to get a photo with Nana and her grandsons on Mother's Day. And I'll let you see just how well that went. Notice anyone missing? Cannon didn't think a Mother's Day photo was a great idea. And Cason, well Cason is either spaced out or trying to escape Nana's lap via a back bend. Photos with three kids is all too similar to a three-ring circus.

Dad's Birthday

We celebrated my Dad's birthday at the neighborhood park this year. The same park I grew up playing at, watching baseball at and running around as a child.

Jonathan had to skip out because he was studying for a crazy hard graduate class, and yes, the course has the word "quantum" in the title. He's that smart folks. Mandy, Danny and I were also there but I somehow failed to get a photo of any of us.

Easter 2014

Photo & Video Sharing by SmugMug
Lots of family pictures this Easter with my side of the family. The boys were so patient, or we may have just bribed them with jelly beans and m&ms.
In addition to jelly beans and m&ms, I put dinosaur tattoos and little rubber dinosaurs in the Easter eggs. This is Cason's best T-Rex impression.
Uncles are useful for nabbing hard-to-reach eggs.
Uncle Joey, being the youngest of the family himself, was bound and determined to help Colt get his own Easter egg. Colt was not so determined nor his grib strong enough.
A little grass with his jelly beans never deterred Cason . . . nor Uncle Matt for that matter.
And Daddy's beard was grown for pulling. Happy Easter 2014!

Dallas Zoo with Nana & Papa

We enjoyed one of the last warm days of December at the Dallas Zoo with my parents. And while we spent more time riding those barrel horses in the children's area than doing anything else, it was a fun day outdoors in the fresh air.
Cason did not want to ride the real pony and hung on to Papa while watching Cannon take his turn. But the minute it was his turn to get on that horse, he did and I think he even enjoyed it a little bit.
I have three boys. I've currently given up home of everyone looking normal and smiling in photos. Just snap a few, call it a day and enjoy remember the crazy of life with little boys.
