Shandon Baptist Church

We are officially members of Shandon Baptist Church. I would have posted our picture that appeared in the newsletter, but alas, I have no way to scan it in. We have enjoyed being a part of a young married's Sunday School class. We have met new friends and actually look forward to going to Sunday School and seeing people we know. We are going to join the newlyweds class in the fall. It's a year long program, complete with mentors, that we could not join in th emiddle of the year. We are also very excited about serving in the youth group, teaching Sunday school, have small group Bible studies at our apartment, and going on fun trips.

This is the new sanctuary that Shandon is building that should be complete by the end of the year.
