Christmas with the Reeders
Well, this is going to look more like Christmas with Danny and Laura, since we somehow mangaged to get through the entire evening without taking the traditional "stand behind the table of food getting cold and smile while Dad sets the camera to go off automatically" picture. Between my mom and me, I don't know how that happened.
We celebrated Christmas with my family on January 1st, the day after we got back from New York.
And, for a change someone else (my mom) enjoyed playing with our new camera while we opened our presents. So, here's the slide show. And, yes, I learned my emotions and expressions as a child - would ya' look at the facials contortions I have going on!
If you would care to zoom in you would see that we are THIS excited about . . . drumroll please . . . yes, those are external hard drives. 250 gigabytes thankyouverymuch. No more lost data at the Stiller household.
Coffee, coffee, coffee. Those eyes are just dreaming of the steaming hot java I'm going to make with that bag of Starbucks bliss.
Danny's way more excited about the Cinemark giftcard than his face shows here. Apparently he DOES need some work in the "expressing emotions" department. And yes, we've figured out that if we go to .50 Tuesday Nights at the dollar theater we can get 30 movies in on this one gift card (that's 15 movies a piece). Yes, we are the frugal frumps who go to the dollar theater, use two coupons and then pay with a gift card and make the cashier laugh because we're so cheap.
Here we're realizing that this gift is a year-long membership to the Dallas Aboretum, only four miles from our house. I don't think I could get my eyebrows much higher if I tried, and Danny's still trying to figure out what this is.
Looking fairly normal.
Oops - normal doesn't last long with us. Besides, my parents spent thousands of dollars and I spent two years in middle abstaining from popcorn, gum and all things good to get those pearly whites straight.
I've seen pictures - Danny's made this same face since he was two. One day we'll have little munchkins running around making this face. Can you just imagine!?
