He is Risen Indeed
Danny and I got to celebrate Easter with my family in Plano this year.
It was complete with my Mom's fancy table settings:
Homemade pie:
And Dad carving the meat - in this case ham. (We joked, telling him he dressed to match the 1970s kitchen counters.)
Jonathan was there - but somehow he managed to alude all dinner pictures - he's sly like that.
After dinner Danny worked on his bike:
It is now up and running, and he has successfully ridden it to school several times.
While Danny worked on his bike, Matthew had a little too much fun with the Saws-All.
I wanted to practice my "panning" skills with my camera, so I enlisted none other than the all-too-willing Matthew. (Panning is where you move the camera at the same rate as a moving object so that your subject is in focus and the background is blurry.)
I had him riding up and down the alley so many times he started to get bored - so he showed off.
Pretty soon his tricks were more fun than my "panning" technique.
He's such a good sport - that's why we keep him around.
We also broke out the Bocce Ball set for a fun afternoon game - but I took so many pictures of that, that I wanted to give it it's own post. (NOTE: Only in the English language do you need to use the same work two times in a row in one sentence.)
