Danny's Belated Birthday Bash

After all the birthday festivities in Arizona, Danny's follow-up birthday celebration at home was pretty low-key.

I gave him this:

For those of you who non-snobby coffee drinkers, this is Danny's FAVORITE coffee served at Ferrara's in Little Italy. It also happens to cost $15.00 per can. At that price, that coffee should either last us several months or it should taste like gold!

Danny also received a Moka pot for his birthday, so now, when you come over you can have brewed coffee from our coffee maker, french pressed coffee, or espresso from the moka pot. We might as well start "proudly serving Starbucks coffee" from our kitchen.

A moka pot is the "poor man's" espresso. You put the coffee in the pot, fill the bottom with water and let it percolate on your stovetop.

Danny's been perfecting the art almost every morning before work.
