Texas Snow on Christmas Eve
I'm excited to tell you about Christmas Eve because it SNOWED! In our dining room!
Mom had these little gag gifts that created more laughs than a Jolly Old Saint Nicholas. One of them was snow in a bottle.
You just have to add water and the powder expands into snow. You can keep it for days if you spritz it with water every day. That what Texans resort to when it's 75 degrees on Christmas day: a snow garden.
Mandy, Joey and Matthew were mesmerized.
After creating snow, we ate.
. . . and ate some more. It was a little more than delicious.
Then, Joey tried to outrace my fingers on the piano. He lost.
And we played Dutch Blitz to tire ourselves out and wait for Santa to arrive.
