Welcome to Tacoma!

Doesn't this picture just scream of the Nortwest? Fall colors, overcast, hilly/mountainous - everything Texas is not?!

In October, Danny and I flew out to Tacoma, WA to attend Soma School. Danny has wanted to go to Soma School for over two years and has listened to these pastors via podcast for over two years, so he was like a kid in a candy store - or a seminary student hanging out with pastors - either way - imagine EXCITED!

I'll save all of our overflowing thoughts on Soma School for another blog post and simply leave you with some pictures from our first two nights in Tacoma. Let's just say the colors took our breath away.

Our second night in Washington, we ventured out to Seattle, not thinking that everything would be closed and quiet.

We did get to see the very first Starbucks EVER. It was slightly anti-climatic, but we can now check it off the list of "things to do before we die."
