Cannon - Week 30 (2/3/11)

Cannon's accomplishments this week included trying yogurt, mango and pears and LIKING them all. He's proving to have a sweet tooth. He loves his fruits and hesitates to consume his vegetables, but what do I expect when I downed chocolate shakes like water when he was rolling around inside of me?

He doesn't seem to appreciate avocado or peas and has quit the dramatic gag reflex when fed anything green. He does eat oatmeal, millet, pears, applesauce, mango, sweet potatoes and squash with gusto. He's been trying to pick up pieces of banana off his tray.

Naps have been rough. He's gone from sleeping for 1.5 - 2 hours to 45 minutes at a time. He's cranky and exhausted but won't sleep. We've tried rocking to sleep, nursing to sleep, crying to sleep and nothing helps. So, we're chalking it up to a huge developmental stage and hoping it will pass in a few more weeks.
