Cannon at 20 Months
My baby boy is becoming a toddler with bruises on his forehead and everything.
Clothes:
I've started packing up the 18 month clothes as the pants are a little too tight and the shirts are little too short. Towards the end of the month he started wearing 2T shorts and shirts.

Sleeping:
After only three days Cannon started napping great in his big boy bed without getting up. After a week of napping his big boy bed we transitioned him to the bed at night as well. For two weeks he did great, only getting out of bed when he woke up (but staying in his room thanks to the baby gate at his door). After two/three weeks he started getting up ALOT before naps, after naps, in the middle of naps, etc. and waking up WAY early (at 7:00 am instead of 8:30 am). It took a week of continually putting him back in bed, instructing him to call "mama" when he was awake (instead of just getting out of bed to roam) and even spanking him and then it clicked. He goes down great and calls for us without getting out of bed.

Eating:
Cannon's getting better about NOT whining when he doesn't want to eat something. He's also learning that he has to eat what's on his plate. Usually he finishes what he likes first and then asks for more of that. When we say "No" he eventually nibbles at whatever is left.

Talking:
It's like verbal explosion over here. Cannon has tons of new words (see words in bold below). I can't really keep up recording them all because it seems like every time I turn around he's repeating what I say.
He has started putting two and three words together. More juice is "ma ju". Daddy's book is "dadad boo." That's my mama is "dat my mama," and he can say "bye bye Dada" and "night mama."

Teeth:
Same as last month - 16 teeth.

Likes:
Cannon LOVES the book "Number Rhymes to Say and Play" and pulls it out to read every day.

Dislikes:
Vegetables - still.
Health:
It seems like February was the month of sickness for us. Cannon got another ear infection in his right ear and I started researching some natural remedies for colds/ear infections to help keep us off antibiotics in the future.
