Cannon at 21 Months

Clothes: 
There are very few 18 month shirt/shorts left in his dresser. He's pretty much wearing 24 months and 2T clothes, 24 month pjs, and Size 6 shoes.

Sleeping: 
Cannon's a super sleeper. He averages 12 hours at night and a good 2-3 hour nap in the afternoon.

Eating: 
He's often picky about his food. He loves egg salad, bacon, cheese, yogurt & apples and pretty much won't touch anything that's green, especially if it's a vegetable. I just keep putting healthy meals in front of him and don't give in when he wants more "crackers."

Talking: 

His verbal communication is increasing more and more and it's getting harder to keep up with his new words and new signs. New words & signs are below in BOLD.

Teeth: 
He still has 16 teeth with no signs of his two year molars coming in any time soon.

Likes: 
Suddenly Cannon is all about reading. He LOVES books! It's awesome. This month his repeated favorite is the Mother Goose Clock book.

Dislikes: 

I think the newness of having a baby brother has worn off. Cannon has shown more jealously this month than ever before. It's almost like he's realized that Cason is here to stay. He cries and wants up when Cason cries and gets picked up. He's hitting more when he doesn't get his way (at toys, at Cason, at me - whatever is closest). And he tells me to put Cason in the bouncer when he wants to be held or sit in my lap. 

Health:
Good health this month - no illnesses - yea!

Milestones:
Climbing! Cannon's climbing everywhere - on the window sills, up into his bed, and even attempting new things at the playground lately.
