First Zoo Trip

My friend shared her family pass to the zoo with us, so Danny took a Thursday off of work and we headed to Dallas. I promise Cannon is more excited than he looks in this picture. I just love seeing their little faces peak over the back seat.

I hadn't been to the zoo in years and it was awesome. The elephants and giraffes could come right up to the fence so you could see them close up.

And in case you don't know Cannon's little signs, this is him telling Daddy that the giraffe is "eating."

Cannon hasn't quite grasped the concept of riding on Danny's shoulders. He likes to grab ears, glasses, chins, or whatever is closest.

It figures that we go all the way to the zoo and the boys spent 10 minutes chasing rolly pollies.

My sweet friend, Christina and her youngest were our tour guides for the day.

Cannon wasn't so sure he loved the carousel, but we couldn't leave without a ride.
