Little Bottomless Pit

Lord have mercy on our wallets over the next 18 years because this child (along with our older child) LOVES to eat. Does that look like a smile that did not just enjoy roasted sweet potatoes?

They (parenting books, friends, etc.) always told me you can feed kids for free for years because they eat so little. Not in our case. Within the first year our grocery bill goes up due to all of the extra fruit and veggies we're putting on that little plastic booster seat tray. If our grocery bill goes up in the first 12 months, I hate to think what's going to happen when adolescence strikes. 

This is the I'm not signing more - just GIVE ME MORE - face!

And this is the face of sheer delight when I put more food on his tray.
