Cason - Week 48

Stats:
Weight: 22 lbs 13 oz
Height: 28+"
The kid is my arm work out for sure!

Clothes:
He's mostly wearing 12-18 months clothing, but I've also pulled out a few 18-24 month outfits for him. And, while I have to roll the cuffs on the pants and shirts usually, it's surprising how well they fit.

Diapers:
(same as last week)
Cloth: ALL on the LARGEST SETTING!
Disposable: Size 5

Schedule:
(same as last week)
Naps: 9:30 am and 1:30 pm
Night Time: 7:00 pm - 7:30 am (with one wake up to nurse around 6:00 am)

Sleeping:
If you skip down to the "health" section you'll see that Cason had an ear infection this week. You can pretty much guarantee he wasn't sleeping good.

Eating:
Cason is down to nursing only three times a day now (first thing when he wakes up, some time around lunch, and then right before bed at night). For a few days in a row he was just fighting me during his middle-of-the-day feedings. He would hear Cannon in the other room and squirm to see him. He wouldn't latch on long enough to get a let down but would just wiggle and giggle and laugh. So, I decided to stop fighting him because it was getting frustrated and just nurse him less. Let the weaning process begin. My baby is growing up.

Talking:
Tons of babbling and mixing consonants  He doesn't just say the same sound over and over and over again, but mixes his sounds until it sounds like he's speaking gibberish.

Teeth:
(same as last week)
Eight Teeth - four top, four bottom.

Likes:
Cason LOVES playing chase. He wants Daddy to chase him and then pull him back by his feet. He'll also crawl fast after Cannon and giggle when Cannon turns around to chase him and the roles are reversed.

He also loves nursing. I think it is his happy place. Sometimes he'll just take a break, look at me and grin from ear to ear, then go back to eating. He makes me smile.

Dislikes:
Nothing new to report here.

Health:
Well, the fever that turned into a runny nose/hoarse throat turned into an infection in his left ear, so off to the doctor we went because I felt like garlic drops, echinachea, and Tylenol weren't cutting it any more.

Events/Milestones:
Again, nothing new here. He's just cruising and babbling and weaning and that's about it.
