When the trampoline is our therapy

It is no secret that we are lovers of our trampoline. We are on it every day. Some days we are still in our pjs and sometimes we are doing good to have undies on, but we are jumping nonetheless. It provides fresh and exercise that is refreshing to all of our souls. We can be out of sorts and grumpy, but we get on that trampoline and are out-of-breath laughing within minutes. 

I rarely bring the camera to jump because I need to connect with my boys face-to-face sometimes, but really, Cason's hair was just begging me to photograph it.

And yes, that did just happen. And yes, we all laughed and giggled all the more.

And there's  my whole world, in one photo, before bedtime one crazy, crazy night. 

Sometimes life just looks like this: pjs all days, sippy cups, half-dressed toddlers, fireman hats and conversations between brothers on the floor.

And I remind myself to sit and soak it up rather than rush on to the next thing on my to-do list. 

Trampoline Therapy

Sometimes we have the worst of days where everyone is out of sorts, little boys are whinier than whiny, the house is strewn with the contents of the boys' bookshelves, dishes haven't been washed in three meals, I'm threatening to throw away every single toy and we're digging through the dryer for clean clothes. The trampoline can redeem even the worst of those days.

I call it trampoline therapy. Whines turn into giggles, frowns turn into smiles and fresh air and sunshine breathe new life into our afternoon. We literally spend time on the trampoline every day. Maybe we use it so much because I have very energetic boys but it's the perfect way to get out of the house and not have to leave our house! I think everyone with little kids should get a trampoline for their backyard. 

Sick Days

The Stillers started 2014 being sick. Lots of tissues, lots of tv, lots of cuddles, lots of pajama days and too many sneezes straight into my face.
