Thanksgiving 2007
Well we made it through Thanksgiving and apparently I just needed a little blogging break.
Danny and I have been scurrying around getting ready for the holidays, trying to organize the office (we have decided we are NEVER moving again), fellowshiping with friends, working, and keeping up with his classes. We are planning our schedule for next semester, which should involve Danny working different hours and Laura being involved in a few less extra-curricular activities. We'll keep you posted.
Here's our family picture from Thanksgiving. We spent the holiday with my family in Plano and our friends from SF Group, Joey & Jenna, joined us.
We enjoyed fabulous cooking by my mom, a wonderful homemade apple butter, pecan crusted pumpkin pie by Jenna and some thawed out, from the store pumpkin pies courtesy of Voice of Hope.
After dinner we took our traditional walk around Bob Woodruff Park and raced stick boats down Rowlett Creek. I believe we are still debating who won.
The walk was followed by pie, cider, coffee and games.
It was the best four-day weekend Danny and I had had in a long time.

I still don't fully believe that there is a blue decorative marble in that seed thingy.
What a fun day!
what are you doing with those sticks?
Is that a 'bop-it' Joey has in his hands? Ahh Gilmore girls.
That is a bop-it.
And we're racing sticks in the river - drop them in on one side of the bride and see whose stick makes it past a designated point farther downstream.
