Dallas Date Night #10 - Sensational Spa Night

Danny's job at DTS has funded most of our date nights (eating out, events, etc.), and that paycheck has been a huge blessing. However, our frugal habits will never completely disappear, so we always love cheap or free things to do.

With my husband being the creative genius that he is, he had he brilliant idea for a "spa date night."

So, one Friday night found us walking into the gym at Tom Landry Fitness Center. I don't think I've ever been to a gym on a Friday night. I don't even think gyms should be open on Friday nights, but believe it or not, people work out on Friday nights. We weren't there to work out, though, so we walked right past all of those weights and treadmills.

For a good hour, we soaked in the hot tub and flirted and talked amongst the bubbles. It was some of the most relaxing quality time we'd had in a while.

After shriveling up like raisins, we headed over to Central Market for dinner from their "Cafe on the Run." We walked around and around in circles trying to decided between egg rolls, stuffed chicken, squash medley or almond green beans. We finally settled on some delectable choices and found a seat upstairs to eat and watch shoppers. We decided that the majority of Central Market shoppers by wine on Friday nights.

We topped the evening off with gelato. It can't get any better than a hot tub and gelato all in one night.
