Is that a deer I see?
Okay - we're back.
The blog is undergoing renovations, and as BADLY as I want to unveil a completely new design with everything in place, I don't have the time. So, you'll get little pieces at a time.
The biggest news is that comments should now be working again. I've missed ya'll! So, please, comment away - and if they are not working, LET ME KNOW.
Getting back to our holiday festivities:
On Christmas Eve, while Matthew was in the other room trying to guess what was in his HUGE box/bag from Mandy, Dad looked at her and predicted the future. "You realize that he's going to spend tomorrow up in that tree in our front yard don't you?"
We laughed . . . because we knew it was true.
And Dad is never wrong.
Sure enough, no sooner had he ripped off the paper than Mom looked around and went, "Where is Matthew?"
Well, right here of course:
Yes, that's my little brother up in the neighbor's tree.
So, of course we all had to give it a whirl.
I'll let Danny demonstrate how this contraption works.
Jonathan tried for getting the highest and was only stopped by the limbs on the tree.
We also did a little weight testing to just make sure it wouldn't come crashing down out of the tree with Matthew in it.
And then Joey just showed off how many pull-ups he could do.
While waiting for everyone to try out the deer stand, Danny tested out his new shoes running, jumping and climbing.
M&M (Mandy & Matthew) with the deer stand. She is a GOOD girlfriend!

You couldn't pay me enough money to sit in that thing. I would be so freaked out. SO. Very impressive that you got in it.♦
