In a New York Minute
Several things have occurred in the last 24 hours:
- I forgot the camera cord AND my memory card reader for Baby Bella, so all my fun airport shots are frozen until we return home. Now, the blog is going to become a hot mess because I'm going to blog completely out of order: first the New York trip, back to Mother's Day, skipping forward to our camping quarterly review, and finally ending with my airport pictures. Please don't get confused.
- I gorged myself on food in first class (is that even possible?) simply because I couldn't pass up free food - even if it was dried-up, microwaved tortellini.
- We ogled over the Statue of Liberty as we flew over it - as if we've never seen it before - and then I would have fallen out of my seat upon seeing the red/white/blue Empire State Building had I not followed the yellow-lit, buckle-up-for-safety sign.
- I concurred with Danny when he said we should get iPhones the next time we renew our cell phone plan, and then proceeded to spend the next two and a half hours drooling over the thought of how productive and efficient I could be with a smart phone! I got giddy at the thought of syncing an iPhone with my computer.
- I decided that flying first class and seeing New York City from the sky at night makes my heart happy.
Now I'm off to sort through all of the pictures we took at Central Park this afternoon.
