Arizona Trip

Let me go back a few weeks and remember our trip to Arizona and our visit with family.

Papa Gus got to be with all his children, in the few days before he went to be with Jesus.
Here's Mom, Papa Gus, Aunt Sally and Uncle Rik.

Our whole family got to be together. Danny and I flew to Dallas, then drove with Matthew and Dad all the way to Phoenix. Dad and Matthew drove, rather, Danny and I slept! Joey flew in from Chattanooga, and we all got to hang out together, as a family, under this tree in Uncle Rik's yard.

Mom and Dad gave us a tour of Arizona State University, their alma mater.

They took us to the different buildings where they had classes and where they would perform in the band together - Dad on the trumpet, Mom on the saxophone.

And here we are having fun in the Arizona sun.

We also got to visit Aunt Lee, Dad's sister, and her husband, Uncle Rod.
