Anniversary - Messina Hof (Part 3)

After spending hours at Texas A&M, we finally made to the Messina Hof Winery & Inn, where we crashed for the weekend. It was two nights of complete comfort, rest and stuffing ourselves with fabulous food.

For those of you that don't know, Danny proposed in the back of the vineyards at Messina Hof just before he moved to Austin to work at Humana.

Replace the red shirt with a dress shirt, tie, and replace the smile with a little sweatier, more nervous Danny and you have a pretty good idea of my view on May 9, 2005.

Our room was huge, complete with a jacuzzi bath tub, which I enjoyed EVERY day!

Breakfast started out with appetizers - which would have filled me up - and was followed by a different entree each morning. This had to have been one of the highlights of our stay.


If that one stay hadn't broke the bank I'd want to stay their every weekend. It was perfect.
