O Little Christmas Tree

The day after Thanksgiving, as has been tradition for our two years of marriage, Danny and I went out and bought our Christmas tree. We thought we had found a place in Flower Mound to cut down our own tree, but that was just a hoax and a wild goose chase. I actually can't believe we thought we'd find a Christmas tree farm in the middle of Flower Mound, but Joey, Jenna, Danny and I all believed the website - hook, line and sinker.
Needless to say we finally found a Christmas tree lot outside a Fry's with trees that had been delivered from Michigan, or some other far off place, a week ago. Oh well, good enough.
Here's Joey & Jenna with the tree they picked out.

Jenna decided to carry their tree out of the tent herself. And, just as soon as she completed her feat, one of the Christmas Tree employees came over, looked at her just a little crazy, and said, "I would have done that for you." But he obviously didn't know the value of these pictures and the blogs they would go on.

Danny and I actually decided to stay within our budget this year. You should be proud of us, because usually Danny prides himself in bringing home the biggest Noble Fir that will fit in our apartment. Instead, we picked out a small Douglas Fir and you'll soon see the cute little pictures of it in our living room.

Danny, in all his might, taking our tree to the car.

hey, don't knock those Charlie Brown trees...they need loving homes, too. (just remember Phoebe's crusade to rescue the unwanted trees from the "chipper" on "Friends!)
You've done your part to give that little tree a good and loving home.
