Dallas Date Night #8 - Plano Children's Theater
Last month Danny and I had a fabulous date night and enjoyed the Plano Children's Theater production of "Princess Bride."
It was completely entertaining. We enjoyed watching Naomi, who was my first baby-sitting job EVER when I was 11 years old and she was months old, perform. She did a great job as Miracle Maxine who helped heal Wesley after he survived being tortured.
She's the one in the middle - we only took the little point and shoot camera and apparently I've forgotten how to "point and shoot" because some picture came out fuzzy and blurry.
It was fun watching the kids play the various roles, along with the Plano Children's Theater's adaptations. Fezzik was played by a girl, as was the Clergyman, and both were incredibly funny, had amazing accents, and were delightfully dramatic.
It was so much fun to be in a small, intimate theater, enjoy the little laughs and slip ups, and see how much the kids enjoyed themselves on stage. We will definitely be watching their production calendar and making the trip up to Plano for another show!
