Happy Birth Day Cannon!

Because I think all occasions should be commemorated with good photography, we hired a birth photographer.  We were excited to capture our first moments as parents in pictures.

The plan was for the fabulous Keri Duckett to meet us at the hospital. But, since we waited so long to actually go to the hospital (yes, the birth story is forthcoming!), she missed the birth, due to no fault of her own. Who knew that Cannon would come shooting out only 25 minutes after pulling up to Plano Presby?  That's what I get for naming him Cannon - I know - he's going to be a little spitfire.

However, Keri showed up shortly after Cannon did and stuck around for several hours to capture our first moments as a family as well as Cannon meeting his grandparents and uncles/aunt for the first time. 

She put together this video with the song Danny picked out for Cannon and it's priceless. This new mommy cries every times she watches it.
