Preschool: Transportation Month (Week 3)

This week in preschool we:
- Reading: transportation books
- Transportation Activity: Flew straw paper airplanes up and down a string (tacked at both ends at an angle).
- Sensory Activity: Drove hot wheel cars over paint-soaked sponges and then painted/made tracks with them on paper.
- Slow & Steady Get Me Ready: Talked about things we find outdoors and explored leaves, sticks, bark, acorns, etc.
The kids were all about painting with hot wheels, but we learned that water colors do not work as effectively as tempera (or another washable) paint.
