Cannon has a new obsession: ELMO! 

We've progressed from reading cereal boxes to actual books.

Sometimes Cannon eats very slowly and we sit at the table having a 30-minute conversation over lunch. Other days he's done in two minutes and wants DOWN! Like NOW! Well, we're working on sitting at the table for the full meal - mainly because I need a break from watching him and from him tearing apart my house - so he gets to read a book or color while I finish eating. Sometimes he keeps reading long after I've taken my last bite and cleaned up the kitchen. That's okay with me!
