Our Adventures at the Perot Museum of Nature & Scient

We had our first play date at the brand new Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas. We spent a few minutes in the bird exhibit and then three hours in the children's area. I finally announced it was time to go home and Cannon protested loudly with an "I don't want to go home!" I would tell you which specific play areas were their favorite, but Cannon spent at least 20-30 minutes at the water table, then the Farmer's Market, then the conveyor belt, then the Farmer's Market again, and so on and so forth. Cason explored every inch of the toddler's area, climbed the slide all by himself and even explored/tasted every piece of plastic food in the Farmer's Market (and I wonder why we're sick all the time).

Cannon asked to back to the museum with Beckett every morning for a week after our day there. So, if you have a two-year-old, let them know, the Perot Museum has the "Cannon Stamp of Approval."
