Dinosaur Valley State Park

This has been the summer of adventures and exploration for us as a family. First we took a spontaneous trip to the beach in May, now we're off to Glen Rose, Texas for some hiking and dinosaur footprints. 

Have you been to Dinosaur Valley? You can wade through the Paluxy River, see real dinosaur tracks and hike until your heart's content. The boys did fabulous on the two-mile summit hike and loved playing in the water afterwards to cool off. Cason may or may not have drank half the river, so hopefully he didn't come home with an extra amoeba or something equally terrifying.

We love getting outside with these boys are are excited they are getting old enough for a few adventures!
