Our Family This Month (July 2013)

July was a busy month for us, full of activities, summer play dates and celebrations. We kicked off the month with a July 4th parade, family dinner and fireworks. This was followed closely by Cannon's birthday and a little backyard party. We ventured out to probably every splash pad in the greater DFW area for play dates and even discovered that we LOVE Jack Carter Pool.

Since we've purchased the van, we've moved on to saving for a few FUN baby things, like our awesome birth photographer, bedding for Cason's big boy bed, and girly fabric for weekly pictures . . . you know . . . just in case! Things are starting to get checked off the Baby #3 Bucket List and reality is setting in that come the Fall there will be five people living under this roof!

I'm in my sweet spot with this pregnancy. Between 25 and 32 weeks I usually feel great: no nausea and little fatigue. I can actually play with my children and get things done without feeling like I'm going to fall over. It also helps that this has been the mildest summer in the history of Texas. We've had rain and have barely hit 100 degrees. So, we unintentionally picked the BEST summer to have an autumn baby!
