Okay, so Colt's schedule has been so inconsistent. Poor boy.

His morning nap is pretty haphazard based on what I'm doing with the big boys. He'll either nap in the car or nap in the Tula while we're at the park. I "think" his morning nap occurs about 9 or 10 am.

Colt's afternoon nap is like clockwork. He goes down after lunch when the big boys sleep, about 1 pm.

Colt's third nap of the day is pretty much around dinner time. You'd think I'd learn because every day when I'm trying to prep dinner I look at Colt and go "Why are you still fussing at me?" Well, it's because he's tired. So down he goes around 4:30/5:00 pm for about 45 minutes while we prep or eat dinner.

Bedtime is around 6:30 pm or 7:00 pm and he's down for the night.

I gave Colt 1/3 of a banana WHOLE and he gummed that thing down and squished to a muddled mess between his fingers. Colt also tried avocado this week, but he was not a fan. None of the Stiller boys have liked avocado.

Colt has slept from 6:30 pm to 6:30 am with a dream nursing session at 10 pm the last few nights.

So, I think I'm having trouble finding a good night time schedule that works for Colt and I. Sometimes I dream feed him before I go to bed and he can sleep through the night. When I don't dream feed him he wakes to very early in the morning. He nurses on both sides, so I feel like he's hungry and I'm hesitant to let him "cry it out." I am, however, really ready for him to sleep more consistently through the night.

I know I said I already stopped "swaddling" Colt, but I kept trying to put him in the Woombie (because I'm addicted to swaddling and get scared my children won't sleep if I stop swaddling. So sometimes I'll continue to try to use the Woombie, which is a little different to me than tight swaddling). Well, this week I finally gave up the Woombie for good because Colt was getting frustrated on being swaddled when he woke up.

We took Colt to his follow up eye appointment w/ Dr.  Chen here in Allen. She diagnosed him with CN4palsy (superior oblique palsy) which basically means that his right eye goes up and out ever so slightly compared to his left eye. This is good news because originally she thought his right eye was going straight outwards, which would have only been correctible through surgery. We'll take him back in a year to see how his eyes look then.

Colt went to Sunday School at Bent Tree Bible Church for the first time this week. He did great and I didn't get called out.

Colt went to the MOPs nursery this week because I had been assigned to serve with the children this week. It was his first time any sort of nursery (as I've just been wearing him to church) and his first time to be watched by any non-family members. I think I get more emotional about this with each child.

So, I discovered that caffeine affects Colt. I had coffee at breakfast and Dr. Pepper at lunch and Colt didn't sleep more than 30 minutes all day. That is so not okay so decaf it is!

Colt slept from 9 pm until almost 7 am! I woke up three times ready to feed him and he just slept.
